Dunwich Town Reconstruction

Reconstruction of the trading port of Dunwich c. 1250 A.D. The dimensions of the town are based on a combination of coastal change analysis, contemporary descriptions, the 1587 Agas map, marine and land-based geophysical and archaeological surveys. The Saxon town limits assume that the Pales dyke defences are of Saxon origin.
